Job Summary
Project Engineer position in Traffic and Transportation group requiring 3-5 years experience, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and skills in traffic engineering design and planning.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T. Certification or Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain such
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Skilled in the preparation of traffic impact analyses
- Working knowledge of the MUTCD, AASHTO, PROWAG, HCM, ITE Trip Generation
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, OpenRoads Designer, and/or Microstation
- Working knowledge of traffic engineering and planning software, such as Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM, and AutoTurn
- Familiarity with Traffic Signal Design
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Connecticut, and/or local municipalities and agencies
Additional Requirements
