Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end technical support for projects from inception through design, implementation, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing. Assemble and configure control system products with third-party interfaces, manage IP public address and voice alarm systems, and produce project-specific design, test, handover, and user documentation. Design customer upgrade and migration plans while troubleshooting and maintaining knowledgebases for PAVA and control system products. Support service desk activities for in-service systems and travel domestically and internationally to assist local teams during implementation and support phases.
Required Qualifications
- Platform engineering
- Layer 2 and layer 3 networking knowledge with a good understanding of Multicast
- Ubuntu or Debian-based Linux system administration
- System services
- Postgres SQL
- XMPP inter-process communication
- XML configurations
- SIP and Asterisk
- Bash
- Python
- Degree-level qualification in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Vocational and work-based learning
