Job Summary
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the project team in planning and executing construction projects, focusing on geotechnical scopes of work. Key responsibilities include developing relationships with project personnel, preparing work orders and schedules, attending pre-construction meetings, providing support to the Project Manager and other team members, analyzing project layouts and specifications, ensuring document control, and monitoring project progress. Required skills include ability to read contract documents, solid math skills for field calculations, proficiency in construction software, and excellent communication abilities. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in construction are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 2 years of construction experience with heavy/civil preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in geotechnical earthwork operations
- Proficient in MS Office and construction software
