Job Summary
Lead a team of structural and mechanical engineers to develop, design, and deliver bulk material handling equipment while managing direct client and vendor contacts. Identify staffing requirements, oversee personnel through project phases, and maintain schedules and budgets. Review expenditures, ensure design compliance with standards and contracts, coordinate with vendors, and prepare technical specifications. Mentor junior engineers on business practices and position requirements. Provide status reports on milestones and adjust schedules as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Structural or Mechanical) in Engineering from a four-year college or university
- five or more years related experience
- 5 years minimum experience in the Bulk Material Handling Industry
- Drawing Software: 2D & 3D using AutoCad
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of mining and /or bulk material handling industries
- Other 3D design software, such as e.g. Inventor, SolidWorks, Advance Steel
