Job Summary
As a Structural Engineer at WSP, lead design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year turnkey projects within the Building Structures group; ensure timely, quality structural engineering work aligned with technical, commercial and regulatory standards and project schedules; maintain ongoing, professional relationships with local clients and stakeholders; provide sound technical delivery guidance to the team and mentor junior engineers; collaborate with internal stakeholders in a national multidisciplinary setting; Bachelor to Masters’ in Civil/Structural Engineering, with 5-8 years of building-project experience across sectors (commercial, retail, defence, health, education); proficiency in structural design including post-tensioned concrete; track record of cross-discipline project delivery and strong leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering)
- 5-8 years industry experience on building projects in the commercial, retail, defence, health or education sectors
- Solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete
- Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery
- The ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects
