Job Summary
Project Engineer - Structural at Infrastructure Engineering, Inc. (IEI) in New York leads and supports transportation bridge design, structural assessments, and planning projects. Responsibilities include preparing design computations, plans, and related construction documents; preparing quantity and cost estimates; coordinating staff activities; and producing technical reports, studies, and permits. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and an active Professional Engineer license with a minimum of about 4 years of relevant experience; the role involves collaboration with the Project Manager and staff Designers/Engineers and may include some project management tasks while primarily focusing on technical aspects of structural design (concrete foundations, steel towers, bridges, and hanger systems).
