Job Summary
Track submittals, costs, deliveries, and payroll records while managing safety communications, manuals, and site inspection logs. Prepare weekly toolbox talks, daily safety huddles, and file One Call Center requests and hazardous material records. Perform daily quantity reviews with the superintendent, enter data into the system, and track completion against project plans. Maintain correspondence files, shop drawing logs, and subcontractor daily logs to accurately track asphalt and material deliveries versus payments. Enter daily payroll information by task, track subcontractor work, and submit monthly logs to payroll and area managers. Review project plans, specifications, and subcontractor submittals to ensure proper work completion and accurate material purchasing. Develop look-ahead schedules and track job codes using the Phase Code System. Submit monthly estimates with subcontractor payment sheets and notify management of anticipated overruns or underruns.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of related experience
- Experience in Heavy Construction (site-work, roads or environmental)
- Must be capable of meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent follow-through capability
- Weekend/Nighttime work
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to accurately process written documents
