Job Summary
Project Engineer in SKYTRAC's DAO to coordinate and manage STC development programs, maintain schedules, track actions to closure, control documentation, and enable engineering teams to focus on technical work. In-office role based in Kelowna, BC with relocation support. Responsibilities include project planning and execution, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination across engineering, program management, sales, customers, and regulatory interfaces, documentation and action-item tracking, and risk management in a regulated aviation/aerospace context. Required experience with project scheduling/tracking tools and regulatory standards; engineering degree and 3+ years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree from an accredited university (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an engineering project coordination or project management role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience with project scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation management
- Experience authoring and managing technical documentation in a regulated development environment
