Job Summary

Civil Engineer focused on site-development responsible for engineering design and construction oversight of site-specific infrastructure projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use). Translate site development plans into detailed engineering drawings, lead project tasks, serve as technical lead/engineer of record for larger areas, manage tasks and reports, mentor design engineers, assess site suitability, design roads/utilities/drainage/grading, navigate permitting, oversee design through construction, develop cost estimates and budgets, provide construction administration, and pursue new business opportunities with the project team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with site development engineering project design work
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) professional designation required
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or on track to obtain PE
  • Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar engineering design software
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Valid driver's license and insurable record for travel
