Job Summary
Conduct engineering design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international projects, including short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash, power factor, harmonic, and grounding analyses. Perform power system modeling using software such as SKM, ETAP, or ASPEN, and occasionally interact with customers to gather critical information and review plans. Work in the field under Field Services direction on shut-down, startup, and maintenance projects. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, knowledge of voltages up to 500 kV, and availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- at least 2 years relevant experience
- prefer educational focus in Power Systems studies
- experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower, or other power system modeling software
- knowledge of low, medium and high-voltage up to 500 kV
- Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable doing so directly to customers and co-workers
