Job Summary
Senior Project Engineer for Bernalillo County Public Works overseeing compliance with project schedules and contractor submittals; computes quantities and prepares construction documents; maintains project records and ensures contract compliance. Coordinates utilities, water, sewer, and drainage design and reviews, assists in master plans and capital improvement planning, and directs design work of consultants. Supervises development review, traffic engineering, MUTCD compliance, and site inspections; participates in public hearings and interagency coordination. Requires a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and nine years of related experience; valid New Mexico driver’s license; FEMA training and safety adherence.
