Job Summary
Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design for commercial, institutional, and building infrastructure projects. Architect and direct design from concept through construction for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems; ensure code compliance and technical integrity. Oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage project lifecycles, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and perform exhaustive reviews of electrical calculations and construction documents. Proficiency with Revit MEP, SKM, or ETAP and experience in projects exceeding typical construction values preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited institution
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical design, specifically within an engineering consulting environment
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in power systems design, load calculations, and National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance
