Job Summary
Manage the construction project by assisting the Project Manager with contract administration, budget tracking, and schedule coordination. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet project timelines while maintaining effective communication with the owner, design team, and user groups. Resolve conflicts and solve problems using established strategies to maintain positive relationships with all parties involved. Prepare for and participate in proposals and interviews to seek potential new business opportunities. Be stationed onsite or make regular jobsite trips to collaborate with the superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related construction field, or similar field experience
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the business
- Demonstrates management skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others, while maintaining effective relationships with clients by meeting or exceeding their requirements and expectations
- Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools, such as e-mail, internet, and Microsoft products (i.e. Word, Excel, Office), and scheduling and construction administration software
- Demonstrates conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Is Self-motivated, and has good time management skills
