Job Summary
Project Engineer to oversee planning, execution, and finalization of telecom, TSS, and light construction projects per DoS OBO standards; coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients; manage project schedules, submittals, and resources; oversee project quality control throughout the life cycle and ensure compliance with safety, quality codes, and contractual requirements; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, 5+ years in project/design engineering (telecom, TSS, light construction), familiarity with AutoCAD, knowledge of DoS OBO Building Standards and federal contracting, strong communication skills, and active clearance (Secret/Top Secret). PMP certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project/design engineering
- PMP certification is preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software
- Knowledge of DoS OBO Building Standards and familiarity with Federal Government contracting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
