Job Summary
Project Engineer responsible for planning and delivering civil/marine construction projects. Interacts daily with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and craft personnel to support planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management. Conducts technical review of Plans and Specifications to ensure contract compliance, performs site inspections for quality and safety, and manages daily work progress and cost coding. Prepares submittals, RFIs, payment requests, and Change Orders. Projects span residential piers, floating docks, and large-scale marine construction for Federal and State agencies across Rhode Island and Massachusetts, with both office and field duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
- Previous experience or internship in heavy civil or marine construction is preferred, but not required
