Job Summary
Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules, confirm materials, equipment, and resources, and provide technical input for project work plans. Identify risk elements impacting budget or schedule, evaluate daily projections to track performance, and update the weekly schedule for owner and management reporting. Prepare and manage a three-week work plan, initiate Requests for Information, remit accurate project quantities using assigned cost coding, and manage invoicing with the accounting team. Review certificates, permits, and Job Hazard Analysis to ensure compliance. Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years construction engineering experience. Salary range $95,000–$115,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5+ years construction engineering experience
- Able to delegate and assign work to engineering team to progress the project production forward
- Advanced knowledge of contract specifications and quality assurance practices
- Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays
- Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures preferred
- Specialized, technical knowledge of design build or other alternative build techniques
- Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred
