Job Summary

Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources. Review shop drawings, design specifications, and project data to provide technical input for work plans and scheduling. Identify risk elements impacting budget or schedule, then evaluate daily production and budget projections to track performance. Update project schedules weekly for owner and management reporting, preparing and managing a three-week work plan while notifying stakeholders of significant changes. Initiate and manage all Requests for Information, remit accurate project quantities using assigned cost coding, and manage invoicing with the accounting team. Review certificates, permits, and Job Hazard Analysis to ensure a compliant work environment, and coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedules, and crews as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 3+ years construction engineering experience
  • Able to identify budget and project costs and recommend options to mitigate project delays
  • Knowledge of design build and other alternative build techniques
  • Knowledge of financial reporting methods, quantity tracking methods and cost coding

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e. cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems and/or structures preferred
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred
