Job Summary
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of geotechnical, construction, and special inspection projects within S&ME's Energy team, guiding projects from initial subsurface exploration through final construction support; serve as a technical resource for clients, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with design standards and IBC requirements; mentor junior staff and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders through site visits, meetings, and documentation; manage field presence, quality assurance, and reporting using systems like Metafield to track observations and testing results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Mining, or related engineering field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience on geotechnical, geostructural, and/or construction projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
- Strong math and English communication skills
- Strong business and technical writing skills
