Job Summary
Lead project engineering for G20CM34 natural gas power generation projects, serving as the primary interface between customer engineering and the GCM34 Application Engineering team. Own responsibility from customer proposal through project commissioning by listening to technical inquiries, documenting customer needs, and delivering organized responses that satisfy owner engineers. Manage cross-functional activities to support diverse applications including data centers, utilities, and oilfield production power. This role offers up to 40% travel and relocation assistance for candidates joining Caterpillar's Oil, Gas and Marine organization in Houston, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Proven experience with medium and high-voltage electrical systems
- Cross-functional project engineering experience
- Any of the following: Strong verbal and written communication skills, Customer site travel experience

- Ideal candidates will have an electrical engineering background within utilities, power generation, power plants, or comparable industrial power environments
