Job Summary
Track and maintain records for submittals, costs, deliveries, and activities on bridge construction projects while performing daily quantity reviews with the Superintendent and Job Foreman. Maintain project safety records through periodic jobsite inspections, file findings, and develop look-ahead schedules. Review project plans, specifications, and subcontractor invoices for accuracy; prepare submittal packages, RFIs, and purchase orders. Assist in vendor proposal solicitation, coordinate material ordering, and submit lane closure requests. Visit the project site multiple times weekly to observe, measure, and control progress. Reports to Project Executive. Location: Falls Church, Virginia. Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of related work experience
- Must be capable of meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent follow-through capability
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to accurately process written documents
- Able to multitask, prioritize and perform duties in a timely manner

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Heavy Construction (site-work, roads or environmental)
