Job Summary
Coordinate project management office activities by performing technical reviews of new products, developing manufacturing plans including BOMs, and modifying designs to mitigate obsolescence. Design assembly and test tooling, develop technical manuals, and assist in evaluating suppliers while resolving technical drawing and specification issues. Oversee production processes through concurrent engineering, manage controlled document changes, and lead department meetings to ensure functional requirements are met on time, at quality, and at lowest cost. Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering, 7+ years in aerospace, and strong communication skills. Onsite role in Chatsworth, CA with a salary of $100,000-$130,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Min. 7-year experience in aerospace electronic product design, manufacturing, planning, testing and fabrication
- Ability to provide technical support to customers, suppliers, and in-house technicians
- Effective communication and ability to write clear, concise technical reports
- Knowledge of Aerospace product qualification requirements and familiarity with FAA/Military certification requirements
- U.S. Person as defined by 22. C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee)
