Job Summary
Xometry is seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in manufacturing to develop and implement sourcing strategies, troubleshoot order execution, and expand capabilities within the manufacturing partner network. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, technical or related field preferred
- 2-4+ years in engineering and manufacturing environment
- 1-2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with a focus on CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication required
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices required
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software is necessary (SolidWorks preferred)
- Ability to identify design for manufacturing (DFM) issues based on CAD models and drawings
- Exceptional communication skills
- Able to work with Partners in troubleshooting production issues and answering partner questions
- Able to work well in a fast-paced start-up environment
