Job Summary
Gather technical requirements from customers, suppliers, and internal teams to develop installation design packages including floor plans, piping layouts, and system elevations. Ensure all engineering designs meet applicable codes, safety standards, and company best practices while working closely with Project Managers and Foremen to verify installations follow engineered designs. Provide daily technical guidance and problem-solving support to field teams, reviewing conditions to make real-time engineering decisions and manage design changes for scope modifications. Conduct final inspections, develop as-built drawings, and support project closeout and customer turnover. Requires a Mechanical degree, 3+ years of experience in Process and Utility Piping, proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD, and availability to travel 50% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in Process and Utility Piping Systems
- Experience managing projects with Process and Utility Piping Systems for food process industry
- Experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, and/or CAD
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Availability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical degree preferred and/or applicable industry experience
- Experience with Procore – Project Management Software (preferred)
- OSHA 30, preferred
