Job Summary
Project Engineer I to develop foundational civil engineering skills and support project design and delivery. Responsibilities include preparing engineering calculations, design elements, and basic drafting under supervision; assisting in preparing plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation; using CAD drafting skills (Civil 3D preferred) and office software; applying established design methods, codes, standards, and procedures; supporting the team in estimating task durations and communicating delays; maintaining professionalism, safety, and compliance with company standards; seeking guidance from senior engineers and applying feedback to improve performance; and performing additional duties as directed to meet project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 1 to 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Basic CAD drafting experience: (Civil 3D preferred)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (preferred)
