Job Summary

Lead the development and execution of equipment-related capital projects across the Pharmavite manufacturing network, utilizing project management best practices and lean principles to deliver tactical improvements. Serve as the technical representative for larger projects, creating and maintaining equipment specifications while engaging cross-functional teams to design solutions that support operations. Manage project schedules, provide regular reporting, and lead the capital aspects of New Product Development Projects, ensuring documentation for commissioning and qualification testing. Identify and justify new equipment technologies, conduct risk forecasting, and resolve outstanding operational issues through high-level problem-solving and data analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Degree
  • 5 years of experience in a technical manufacturing role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three to five years of experience in a production environment
  • Demonstrated capability to design and deliver mechanical solutions to support operations
  • Demonstrated capability to resolve outstanding issues
  • Ability to problem-solve at a high level
  • Ability to leverage structured problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to collect and assess data
  • Ability to translate data
  • Ability to form actionable solutions
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Ability to be a good team member on large capital projects
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to ensure the application of technologies across multiple manufacturing sites
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
  • Proven success in recognizing business needs
  • Proven success in creating and implementing technology solutions
  • Ability to move about an office
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Ability to perform this job safely in accordance with good manufacturing practices
  • 20% - 30% Travel
  • Ability to work between facilities
