Job Summary
Project Engineer at Parsons leading field teams installing air traffic control systems for FAA NAS. Responsibilities include assigning field staff to diverse installation assignments, reviewing engineering drawings for installation clarity, developing execution plans, coordinating with client/stakeholders, preparing Risk Management Plans to mitigate safety/quality/schedule risks, monitoring progress and budgets, leading meetings, and ensuring safety and QA processes on deployment sites. Requires travel up to 50%, ability to interpret technical packages, provide reports to clients, and ensure regulatory/compliance standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, technical systems, operations, or a related field (or related field leadership experience in lieu of a degree)
- 6+ years of deployment, installation, or construction management experience including 2+ years in a managerial/leadership role
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Proven leadership capability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interpret installation drawings, scopes of work, and technical packages
- Experience presenting formally using PowerPoint or equivalent
- Experience in Windows-based environments (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to meet customer security requirements
- Background check by Federal Authorities
