Job Summary
The Project Engineer will champion safety and work with the operations management team to develop and prepare concepts, scope, GA, and detail drawings for new plant and optimization projects. The role requires developing project budgets and schedules, assisting in the adherence to design standards, and providing project updates to leadership. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, five years of project engineering experience in heavy industrial or mining environments, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with Civil or Structural Engineering background
- At least 5 years of project engineering experience and related experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively at the field level and with management
Desired Qualifications
- In depth knowledge with aggregates processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge
- Analytical, data focused, and metrics driven
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze options and present a recommendation based on quantitative information
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Excel and Word, and AutoCAD
