Job Summary
Coordinate project needs including RFIs, submittals, pay applications, document control, project reporting, cost events, schedule updates, and close out activities. Read construction plans and drawings, outline specifications for client submission, and ensure materials and field installations match approved submittals. Provide technical, administrative, and managerial support to Project Managers and Field Managers while gathering and distributing information. This 2027 New Grad role supports Skanska Integrated Solutions' mission to build sustainable solutions for schools, roads, and hospitals through direct control of day-to-day facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ Years experience working within a project team contributing to coordination, development, and/or tracking of various project needs such as RFIs, submittals, pay applications, document control, project reporting, cost events, schedule updates and close out activities.
- 1+ Years experience reading and understanding construction plans and drawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.
- Ability to outline specifications required for submission to the client along with ensuring construction materials, equipment, and field installations match the approved submittals.
- 1+ Years of experience in the construction of Commercial building projects (internship experience may be acceptable) with a general contractor/construction management firm.
- Bachelor's Degree – Construction Management, Engineering, or e8 years equivalent industry experience.
- Must be a flexible and adaptable team-player
- Must have strong communication and client service skills
