Job Summary
Project Engineer for Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) team on an onsite Boise project. Responsible for planning, design, and execution of modularized components, coordinating with Area Construction Managers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring BIM/coordination between models and construction, driving design and construction planning innovations, managing OSM data metrics, reviewing submittals, handling RFIs and change orders, assisting in buyout/procurement of subs and equipment, and supporting budgeting, billing reviews, and cost-saving opportunities. Requires collaboration across disciplines, strong communication, and ability to adapt to construction schedules with flexible hours. On-site role with a focus on quality control during preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent field work experience required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing construction or pre-fabrication experience required. Structural experience highly preferred.
- Specific experience in industrial and/or hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is highly preferred.
- LEED Accredited Professional, or the ability to become accredited within eighteen (18) months preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Education background in materials and methods of construction.
