Job Summary
Project Engineer or Project Designer (Engineer-in-Training) needed in J-U-B ENGINEERS' Aviation Services Group in Spokane, WA. Responsibilities include supporting experienced engineers, growing proficiency in civil engineering applications (water, transportation, stormwater, planning, design, drafting), assisting with aviation infrastructure design and construction observation, collaborating with agencies, producing designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and providing on-site oversight, documentation, and travel as required. Opportunity to participate in all project phases, attend public meetings, and contribute to reporting and technical documentation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification/FE exam passed
- 3-6 years of experience in civil design and/or construction inspection
- FAA experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Microsoft Suite proficiency
- CAD experience a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) status will be given highest priority
- Internship experience desired but not required
