Job Summary
Project Engineer or Geologist in the nuclear sector with responsibility for field coordination, data analysis, and QA program duties. Travel across the footprint supporting civil, environmental, geotechnical, and nuclear projects; potential PQAM/QAR duties within the Nuclear Quality Assurance Program (NQA-1). Prepare proposals and reports, develop QA documentation, conduct on-site audits/inspections, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and leadership. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering/geology/related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; willingness to travel on a rotational schedule (10 days on / 4 days off) and work in outdoor, variable conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects
- Experience with nuclear projects is a plus
- Consulting experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel and work a rotational schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off during nuclear project duration
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12+ hours)
- Routinely lift and carry 40-50 lbs. of equipment and samples
