Job Summary
Seeking a Project Engineer within Triton's Ocean Systems to lead innovative ocean engineering projects related to subsea systems and unmanned vehicles. Requires B.S. in relevant engineering field and 5+ years of R&D experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering or related engineering field
- 5+ years R&D experience
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with subsea industry, missions, and related technologies
- Experience building and fielding ocean technologies.
- Experience designing systems for submarines, or other subsea applications
- Experience with marine robotic systems design and prototyping
- Experience with structural engineering and analysis
- Experience conducting in-water or at-sea testing
- Competency using CAD and basic machine shop equipment
- Experience with COMSOL, MATLAB, LabVIEW, SolidWorks, Altium, etc.
- Experience in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Experience writing technical proposals
