Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering and delivery activities for the pilot plant upgrades, driving work packages from scope definition through commissioning and handover. Deliver assigned work packages including planning, design coordination, documentation, site execution, and hands-on problem solving. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors for scope definition, technical reviews, performance monitoring, and interface management. Apply project management frameworks to update schedules, track costs, manage change control, and maintain risk and action registers. Support procurement activities including RFQs, evaluations, purchase orders, and expediting. Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues and maintain project records.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline recognised by Engineers Australia, ideally chemical or mechanical engineering
- 5+ years' experience in project engineering or capital project delivery
- Experience delivering projects in chemical processing, minerals processing, hydrometallurgy, battery chemicals, industrial process plants or related sectors
- Experience with process plant upgrades, brownfield works, installation and commissioning, and coordinating contractors on site
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Project
- Experience working within structured project management frameworks and project controls systems
- A current Class C Drivers License
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD or related engineering software
- Experience working within structured project management frameworks and project controls systems will be highly regarded
