Job Summary
Develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, and full construction plan sets for commercial and utility-scale PV projects while reviewing site information and selecting appropriate product types. Collaborate with global engineering and sales teams to update product standards, execute value engineering exercises, and coordinate design changes across US and India offices. Prioritize tasks to support project quoting and execution phases, utilizing topography and hydrology analysis to optimize tracker placement.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience supporting commercial or utility-scale projects
- Thorough knowledge of drafting standards
- Proficiency in MS Office
- AutoCAD
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated team player
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil
- Knowledge of construction sheet sets and project design of PV plants
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the solar industry
- Passion for solar
