Job Summary
Coordinate field operations and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close-out materials. Assist with job site safety procedures, compliance, and documentation while monitoring labor production, budgets, and schedules to prepare regular progress reports. Help develop punch lists, review plans and blueprints to resolve issues, and maintain communication between the project team, clients, architects, and subcontractors. Support business development and maintain strong client relationships. This Project Engineer role supports project teams to deliver high-quality drywall and framing projects on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 2+ years of equivalent experience in commercial construction, preferably in drywall, framing, or wall systems
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and coordination
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
