Job Summary
Project Engineer position focusing on specialized engineering analysis for telecom site development. Responsibilities include analyzing survey data to identify risks and inform pre-construction planning, validating third-party structural designs against project specs and codes, reviewing external design packages for constructability and safety-in-design, assessing environmental or traffic-related constraints, and developing quality control checklists and environmental-risk documentation. The role requires coordinating with external consultants and internal teams, maintaining a technical database of materials and equipment, and producing engineering reports with recommendations for corrective actions or design modifications. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and at least five years of project engineering experience in construction, with proficiency in reading drawings, knowledge of safety regulations, and strong data/reporting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience performing project engineering duties involving analysis, oversight, and technical coordination in the construction industry, preferably telecommunications/utility infrastructure
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings
- Working knowledge of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CAD software is a plus (e.g., AutoCAD)
