Job Summary
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout project execution for new and existing plant systems in the nuclear industry. Support design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning by developing engineering documentation, reviewing vendor submittals, and resolving technical issues across engineering, construction, and procurement teams. Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones while ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and quality requirements. Identify design conflicts and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders, participate in field walkdowns and project meetings, and provide technical support to project management. Assist with scope development, RFIs, and field changes to ensure safe and efficient project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Q-Clearance Required
- Project engineering or project management experience
- Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering background
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with quality programs, testing activities, and configuration management processes
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
