Job Summary
Project Engineer role supporting MGC Contractors’ Arizona Division in the Phoenix metro area. Responsibilities include general contract and subcontract administration, construction scheduling, procurement and expediting of materials and equipment, coordination of mechanical, electrical and piping systems, project cost review and reporting, subcontractor payment review, participation in project meetings, supervision/coordination of subcontractors on field installations, review/negotiate change proposal pricing for self-performed work, researching options on construction means/methods/equipment, and developing/maintaining relationships with owners/vendors/subcontractors. The position operates in a professional office environment and on construction sites, with physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to variable weather; occasional overtime may be required. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Bachelor degree in Construction Management or related program. Equal employment opportunity employer; passing background check and drug screen required.
Required Qualifications

- Prior construction field experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
