Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Project Engineer for marine and heavy civil construction projects. Role involves daily field coordination, compliance monitoring, and supporting documentation. Requires 5 years experience and a Bachelors in a relevant field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine or Heavy Civil Construction projects
  • Valid California driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress payments
  • Knowledge of safety and quality compliance standards, including EM 385-1-1

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 safety and hazard identification requirements
  • Completion of EM 385-1-1 training for Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) or Quality Control (QC) Manager roles
  • Experience in hydrographic and topographic surveying
  • Exposure to estimating software such as HeavyBid
