Job Summary
Project Engineer to support execution of greenfield thermal facilities and major facility expansions within a multi-disciplinary project team. Lead through all project phases including funding, regulatory applications, engineering studies, design development, execution planning, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup. Responsibilities include developing execution plans, capital budgets, cost estimates, schedules, risk registers and resource plans; ensuring designs are reviewed with stakeholders for fit-for-purpose outcomes; selecting and overseeing engineering service providers, equipment vendors, fabricators and construction contractors; and managing projects per the company's Project Management Methodology to achieve safety, environmental, scope, cost and schedule objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- APEGA P.Eng. registration in good standing
- 10+ years of oil and gas experience
- project management experience
- process design and thermal (SAGD and/or CSS) facility experience
- experience executing full lifecycle projects
- front-end project development and economic evaluation experience
- strong communication, organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- work ethic and ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
