Job Summary
Lead/Senior Project Engineer for Avionics and AP&S Modifications on-site in Long Beach, CA. Drives cross-functional engineering teams, identifies risks, leads Technical Design Reviews, collaborates with SMEs, supports FAA/EASA certification, develops integrated project plans with Program Management, negotiates changes to statements of work and deliverables, and champions quality, cost reduction, and schedule improvements. Requires extensive aerospace experience across avionics/electrical/software domains, and the ability to work with certification authorities and internal stakeholders to deliver complex modification programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years’ experience in an engineering role
- 5+ years’ experience leading or managing integrated technical projects or teams across multiple organizations
- 5+ years’ experience full time aerospace industry within Avionics, Electrical, Software, Cabin Systems, Inflight Entertainment Systems, or Electro-Magnetic Effects
