Project Engineer - Land Development

Job Summary
Apply prescribed engineering methods to moderately complex land development and construction assignments. Manage planning and design for multiple projects while coordinating with public and private clients. Lead teams across simultaneous assignments, perform field-based activities including inspections and site reviews, and oversee deliverables against quality, schedule, and budget constraints. Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals for contract negotiations. Participate in client design meetings to present technical information and nurture relationships. Requires a Texas P.E. license, 5+ years of civil design experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering/science field
- 5+ years of civil design experience with a strong focus on land development, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects in Central Texas
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas
- Strong knowledge of city, county, and utility project standards, permitting processes, and design regulations
- Valid Texas driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a client-first approach
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer
