Project Engineer - Land Development PE

Job Summary
Conduct preliminary and due diligence evaluations, prepare design and construction drawings, and produce technical specifications for land development projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. Manage project tasks, provide direction to team members, and oversee concurrent projects from start to finish within allocated budgets. Submit permit applications and handle site layout, grading, erosion control, and stormwater management design including wet detention ponds and pipe drainage systems. Report directly to the Operations Manager while maintaining strict adherence to project timelines and monetary constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- DE PE Licensure or ability to acquire DE PE quickly through reciprocity
- AutoCAD 2016 Civil 3d experience
- Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software including Hydraflow and StormCAD (or similar product)
- Experience in land development projects, specifically site layout, grading, erosion control, water, sewer utilities, stormwater management and zoning
- Stormwater management experience should include design of wet detention ponds, infiltration systems and pipe drainage systems
- Must be able to work as part of a project team
- Must be able to manage project tasks
- Must be able to provide direction to team members
- Must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned
