Job Summary
Coordinate project activities, manage schedules, and oversee subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence. Conduct site audits, review specifications and drawings, and generate progress reports, photos, and meeting minutes for management and clients. Manage General Conditions and yard/equipment budgets, track material take-offs, and coordinate with governmental agencies and third-party inspectors. Assist the Project Manager or Superintendent in planning construction phases, resolving technical problems, and maintaining safety documentation and emergency plans. Maintain relationships with vendors, owners, and stakeholders while adhering to corporate safety policies and core values.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years related experience or equivalent of education and/or experience
- Working knowledge of computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Project Management software
- Continuously improving verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Identifies, resolves problems in a timely manner and knows when to ask for assistance
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Seeks increased responsibilities and takes advantages of learning opportunities
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy
- Travel 25-75%; depending on job
- Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related degree
- Knowledge of ViewPoint software
