Job Summary

Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and product applications to solve complex production challenges while leading equipment and process improvements to reduce scrap and increase efficiency. Support new product launches, line startups, and production trials by analyzing data to identify improvement opportunities and implementing solutions. Assist with equipment specifications, vendor selection, and contractor coordination, then partner with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot issues and lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment. Train teams on new processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Step into leadership coverage for supervision support as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment engineering
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting and improving equipment systems
  • Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, engineering documentation, and data
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
  • Solid project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deliverables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with CAD tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in wet wipes, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing
  • Experience with CAD (AutoCAD preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
