Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- At least 3-6 years professional design experience
- PE license in California
- Engineering proficiency in Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Unistrut, Building Design, building retrofits, Building Analysis, Equipment anchorage, Utilities bracing, and Wind Design
- Working knowledge of Timber/Wood, Masonry, Cold Formed Steel, Finite elements modeling/analysis, Seismic Design, Nonlinear Design and Analysis
- Proficiency in codes ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 341, and NDS
- Experience preparing construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in ETABS, RISA 3D, SAP, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Office 365, RAM
- Highly knowledgeable in construction drawing layout and project documentation
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and cloud platforms (Sharepoint, Procore, etc.)
