Job Summary
Monitor project goals, overhead, and profit projections while tracking critical dates in Asta and managing permits, insurance, and bonds. Coordinate pre, weekly, and post-construction meetings to prepare minutes, negotiate with subcontractors, and generate purchase orders. Assist estimating staff by developing bid strategies, creating quantity take-offs, and analyzing subcontractor bids. Support field operations by initiating safety plans, conducting daily site walkthroughs, managing self-perform trades, and generating punch lists. This role includes structured rotational training to understand company policies and the full construction process. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in construction, engineering or architecture related fields
- Equivalent training and related experience
- Prior industry experience as a Project Engineer
- Field experience
- Estimating experience
- Understanding of basic construction technologies such as scheduling software
- Financial comprehension
- Digital model navigation
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA 30 Hour certification
- LEED GA accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior industry experience as a Project Engineer or Intern preferred
- Field and/or estimating experience is a plus
- Awareness of project management and accounting software
- Viewpoint software experience
