Job Summary
Interpret plans and specifications while resolving questions and problems as they arise. Participate in developing project estimates, acquiring vendor quotes, and coordinating material pickups and deliveries to the jobsite. Develop and update the project schedule, track labor and equipment costs, and submit weekly reports detailing status, safety, and change orders. Forecast cost-to-complete for executive review and prepare red line As-Built drawings for the owner's archive. Close out projects by hosting meetings and indexing all documentation. Maintain communication with the owner, inspection teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in place of the degree would be 5 (Five) years as a Project Coordinator, with field experience in various divisions throughout the company
- Possesses strong written & verbal communications skills & manages time effectively
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project & Excel
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude & eagerness to learn
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
- Our projects are regulated by federal and state laws which require all employees to successfully pass criminal background checks, MVR, and drug tests (post-employment and random testing)
Desired Qualifications
- Acquired certain specialized skills from exposure to specific projects, technologies, or industries (e.g., fueling, electrical, or gas)
- Experience working in construction is a plus
