Job Summary
Assist the project team in completing designated projects while gaining a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders. Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety. Pursue a bachelor's degree in construction engineering or management within 18 months of graduating and commit to working 40 hours weekly for at least three months.
Required Qualifications
- pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field
- within 18 months of graduating
- able to work 40 hours a week
- for at least a three-month term
- verification of employment to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- general knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings
- communicate clearly orally and in writing
