Project Engineer - Instrumenation

Job Summary
Coordinate and perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and removal of monitoring instrumentation while planning field activities including subcontractors, drilling operations, permitting, and site logistics. Prepare project submittals, work plans, material procurement, documentation, and as-built records to support project managers. Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate issues to management; attend client meetings and provide technical support. Ensure all work adheres to company policies, client specifications, regulations, and safety requirements. Maintain accurate field records and prepare technical reports summarizing instrumentation performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil/Geotech Preferred) or related degree
- 2-4 years experience with construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, surveying, design, or geotechnical work
- OSHA 10-hour safety training
- Driver's license with a clean driving record
- Completion of first aid courses and CPR
- MS Word, Excel and Outlook relative to reporting site construction and activities
- Ability to lift, carry, pull and push at least 40 pounds
- Ability to travel per the company travel policy, often overnight and away from home
- Ability to concentrate at a high degree in a busy and noisy construction environment
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Ability to converse effectively using both verbal and written communication
- Ability to make decisions and assume accountability
- Ability to concentrate on tasks
- Ability to demonstrate ability to manage stress and emotions as related to the workplace
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve conflict
